SA Lotteries Footy Express
Included in most event tickets is the cost of bus transport to and from AAMI Stadium via the SA Lotteries Footy Express Service. The SA Lotteries Footy Express transports thousands of football supporters to matches, translating into 30,000 fewer vehicles on the road each year. Click here to check Adelaide Metro timetables. Alternatively, call Adelaide Metro on 1300 311 108 for timetable information.
Services run up to two hours after the match for Crows games, to allow supporters to celebrate with the team in the Crows Shed.
Taxi The new taxi rank is now operational and is located on Turner Drv on the Western side of AAMI Stadium. Please note that general taxis are not permitted in AAMI Stadium car park entries as these are no-standing areas.
Mobility access On a match day, Access Cabs are permitted entry to enable patrons with disabilities to be dropped in close proximity to AAMI Stadium. Access cabs can use Gate E off West Lakes Boulevard at the Northern end of the Stadium, or the new drop off zone through Gate K off Brebner Drive at the Southern End. Getting to the Administration Office The SANFL Administration Office is open Monday-Friday between 8.30am and 5.15pm. Access to the office is through Gate J on Turner Drv.
Match Day enquiries should be directed to the Members Information Centre, adj Gate 8, or by calling the Match Day Office on 8268 2088.
Members who have purchased a Season 2011 Members car park permit are entitled to park on Max Basheer Reserve on the eastern side of the Stadium. Entry is through Gate B from West Lakes Boulevard or Gate N from Brebner Drive. A strictly limited number of parking spaces are also available to Members with a parking permit in the northern car park. Entry is through Gate E.
Public Parking : Max Basheer Reserve / The Hanger:
Patrons are able to utilise the public car parking facilities in the car park adjacent to The Hanger. Entry is through Gate A from West Lakes Boulevard. Patrons are advised to get in early as there are a limited number of parks in this area. A section of the Max Basheer Reserve is also available. Entry is through Gate A from West Lakes Boulevard. A $12 charge applies.
Westfield West Lakes : Patrons are able to utilise the public car parking facilities in Westfield West Lakes Mall. Patrons are reminded that two (2) hour parking limits apply in some areas of the Westfield West Lakes car park. A $12 charge applies. It is recommended that patrons arrive at least 1 hour before the match commences to ensure a smoother entry into the car park and stadium.
Public Area - Gates 1, 2, 2a, 3, 4, 5 All entry gates in the Public Area have a pedestrian access gate next to the turnstiles. Patrons requiring access through these gates will need to present their ticket to the Event Staff member stationed at the gates who will scan the ticket and allow entry.
Members Reserve - Gates 6, 7, 8, 9
Members who require disabled access will need to enter through the pedestrian gates at Gates 6 or 9.
Should access through these gates be required, Members will need to present a letter from their medical practitioner stating the reason for the use of the pedestrian gates.
Access through these gates will only be granted to Members who physically cannot get through the turnstiles at Gates 7 and 8.
Members are reminded that granting access through the disabled access gates does not permit them to access the Stadium any earlier than specified Gate Opening times. If patrons arrive prior to Gate opening time, they will still be required to line up.
Disabled patrons may have one carer come through with them - all other patrons are required to utilise the turnstiles at Gates 7 and 8.
*Please note: For Port Adelaide matches - Gate 6 is accessible for wheelchair patrons only. Other patrons requiring disabled access will be asked to use Gate 9 or the turnstiles at Gate 7.

Q: How big is the playing surface?
A: The playing surface covers approximately 2 hectares, with the average distance between the boundary line and fence being 6 metres.
The distance from one end to the other, goal to goal, is 165 metres.
From fence to fence, it is 177 metres.
The distance across the oval, from wing to wing, is 133metres.
From fence to fence it is 145 metres.
Q: What type of grass is grown on the surface?
A: The original turf consisted of 17 varieties of grass. The playing surface now is a combination of mainly couch and rye grass.
Q: How much drainage is necessary?
A: The playing surface is protected by 4kms of drainage piping, set 61cm below the surface. To assist with drainage, there is a fall of 92cm from the centre to the boundary.
Q: How does the surface get watered?
A: AAMI Stadium and the surrounding 17 hectares of parkland have a computerized watering system. The computer can be set to water the Stadium’s playing surface in as little as 13 minutes (when watering in fertilizer), or up to 10 hours when giving the surface a thorough soaking.
The League’s own 2 bores supply the water and can each pump 1000 litres of water per minute. There are 22 full circle sprinklers on the playing surface and a further 20 around the perimeter.

A: AAMI Stadium has 4 light towers, each standing 55 metres high, and hosing 122 globes. The towers are automatically controlled at 4 different levels.

Originally, the function room at AAMI Stadium, accommodation up to 400 people was opened on August 9, 1985. This was redeveloped to cater for up to 800 people, and re-opened as The Park Convention Centre on March 20, 1992 by then Prime Minister Paul Keating.
In 2007, the Convention Centre was renamed the Magarey Room, after SANFL legend William Magarey.

AAMI Stadium reserves the right to inspect / search bags brought into or out of AAMI Stadium.
Persons gaining unauthorised access to AAMI Stadium and / or the venue’s arena may be liable for prosecution.
Patrons who cause a disturbance, or refuse to comply with requests made by AAMI Stadium staff will be evicted from AAMI Stadium.
Pass-outs will be issued on match day. Patrons are advised that when re-entering the Stadium they must produce both their pass out and entry ticket.
Alcoholic beverages cannot be taken into or from AAMI Stadium by patrons.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside AAMI Stadium.
Customers wishing to bring personal items into AAMI Stadium do so at their own risk. AAMI Stadium will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of a patron’s personal property.
Umbrellas may be brought into the Stadium but for the comfort of others should not be put up.
Due to safety reasons, strollers and prams are not permitted into the Stadium’s seating bowl.
Unauthorised soliciting and customer surveying is not permitted.
Customers are not permitted to throw any objects around or within the AAMI Stadium seating areas.
Some sporting and other activities are dangerous. Patrons viewing such activities do so at their own risk. Patrons sitting behind the goals are advised to take care and watch for footballs being kicked during the warm up period and throughout the match.
Patrons are advised that the Stadium seats ‘flip up’ and to take care when standing and sitting
Member Conditions
All Members and their guests must adhere to the rules and conditions of entry into the members Reserve set out by the SANFL. A full list of Member conditions detailing behaviour and appropriate footwear & clothing (ie. NO rubber thongs are permitted into the Members Reserve) can be found at: www.sanfl.com.au
Cameras and Recording devices (for commercial purposes) including tripods;
Metal flag poles, extendable flag poles and / or flag poles of more than 1.4 metres in length.
Oversized banners and flags which are deemed to cause public nuisance. Specific conditions may apply for some events regarding the entry of flagpoles, flags, and banners.
Whistles, hooters and horns. Specific conditions may apply for some events regarding the entry of musical instruments including drums.
Confetti or shredded paper;
Scooters, roller skates, skateboards and push bikes;
Not to wear or otherwise display commercial, political or other offensive signage or logos.
Eskies and bags of larger dimensions than are too large to be stored under a seat).
Other items as determined by AAMI Stadium management that may cause injury or public nuisance.

Liquor Licencing
All persons entering AAMI Stadium are advised that alcohol is permitted in selected seated areas of the Stadium and all dry zones must be adhered to. Alcohol may be consumed in the following seated areas:
PUBLIC AREA : All Bays with the exception of Bay 102.
MEMBERS : All Bays with the exception of Bay 103
Alcohol is not permitted in the Standing Areas of the Stadium. It must be consumed in the allocated Seating Bays or in the Bar Areas,.
Patrons are also reminded when entering AAMI Stadium:
They are entering licenced premises;
Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter;
Persons in possession of liquor will not be permitted to enter;
Checking procedures will apply to prevent persons possessing liquor from entering;
Intoxicated persons will be removed from the premises;
It is an offence for minors to purchase and consume liquor;
It is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors;
Persons supplying liquor to minors will be reported to the Police and penalties apply under the Liquor Act 1997."
All patrons are stongly encouraged to seek assistance from Event or Security Staff should they encounter a problem with other patrons around them. Discretion will be used at all times when dealing with alcohol related issues in Seating areas.

AAMI Stadium Members Parking AAMI Stadium Members who hold a Season Car Parking permit, along with a Department of Transport Disabled Parking Permit, have the option to park through Gate J or Gate G on the Western side of the Stadium. Spaces are limited, and availability is subject to capacity.
AAMI Stadium Members who may require parking in close proximity to the Stadium on a one off occasion will need to contact the League to arrange parking. Each case is addressed separately, and Members will be required to submit a medical report stating the reason for the parking request. To access disabled parking, call the League Office – 8268 2088.
Public Parking All other patrons who hold a Department of Transport Disabled Parking Permit, but do not hold a Season Parking Permit, are required to enter Max Basheer Reserve, through Gate B off West Lakes Boulevard. This area is subject to capacity, and car park staff will endeavour to park disabled patrons as close to the Stadium as possible.
AFL MINOR ROUND MATCHES Children under 5 years will be admitted without charge to at AAMI Stadium, provided they are accompanied by an adult and do not take up a seat. Children aged 6-14 qualify for a child ticket, while children over 15 years qualify for a concession ticket provided they present a valid concession card.
AFL FINALS MATCHES Children under 2 years will be admitted without charge provided they are accompanied by an adult and do not take up a seat. Children aged 3-14 will be required to buy a ticket at the relevant price. Children aged 15 years or over may qualify for a concession ticket provided they present a valid concession card upon entry.
SANFL FINALS MATCHES Children under 5 years will be admitted without charge provided they are accompanied by an adult and do not take up a ticket. Children aged 6-17 years qualify for a child ticket.
Concession, child and family tickets are available for most football matches held at AAMI Stadium. Prices are available here.
You can bring a pram or stroller to AAMI Stadium but they are not permitted within the seating bays due to safety reasons. Please see an event staff member should you require pram storage for the match, however, due to limited storage space, we make no guarantee that space or security will be available on the day.
We encourage all patrons to take advantage of AAMI's drinking-in-seats policy by responsibly enjoying an alcoholic beverage in their seats at a Stadium event.
However, some conditions apply. You may only purchase four alcoholic drinks at any one time and these must be carried back to your seat in a provided tray with lids on all cups.
Selected dry zones (Bays 102 in the public area and 103 in the members' reserve) must be adhered to.
AAMI patrons are also reminded that upon entry to the Stadium:

How do I locate my kids if they get lost?
Stadium Event Staff will assist any child who has become separated from their parents/guardians. When a lost child is found, staff are instructed to immediately escort the child to their supervisor, who will follow procedures in place for lost Children.
Parents/Guardians who have become separated from their children are asked to contact the nearest Event Staff Member, who will follow procedures in place for reporting lost children.
Police are also on site to assist with any lost children.
St Johns patrols are located at various points around the Stadium. Please approach an Event Staff Member if you cannot find one and they will be able to assist you in locating a patrol.

GENERAL INFORMATION :
Children aged 5 years and under may enter the Stadium free of charge, but are required to take a seat on an adult member’s lap. Children aged 6 and over are required to purchase a child or concession priced entry ticket.
It is not recommended that Prams and Strollers be brought into AAMI Stadium. While they are allowed inside the Stadium, they are not permitted in the Seated Areas, as they can be a hazard for other patrons. Please see an Event Staff Member should you wish to store your pram, however, there is no guarantee that space or security will be available.
Prams are not permitted to be stored in any of the Wheelchair bays around the Stadium.

Seaton High School
Seaton High School offers football patron parking on their Oval on match Days. There is also a free shuttle bus before the match, dropping patrons parking at Seaton High at the Bus Terminal by Gate 3. Contact Seaton High School for further information.
Seaton Ramblers Football Club
The Seaton Ramblers Football Club provides daily car parking for Crows matches as well as the Power Home Showdown. Enter via Pedlar Avenue. Cost $10.
Important: It is recommended that patrons arrive at least 1 hour before the match commences to ensure a smoother entry into the car park and stadium.
Public Area There are 4 different areas in the Public area of the Stadium allocated as disabled seating. The Southern end has an enclosed disabled viewing area at the back of the concourse level, accessed through the foyer of the Superboxes. In the North Eastern pocket there are 2 bays on the Terrace level that have the back rows assigned to wheelchair bound patrons and their Carers. The Northern end has an undercover disabled viewing area located behind the Northern goals. In total, there are 27 wheelchair bays in the Public Area of the Stadium.
These seats must be pre-booked, and can be done so through Ticketmaster.
Members Reserve AAMI Stadium Members can access 6 different disabled viewing areas within the Members Reserve.
Bays 104 and 113 have the back two rows dedicated to wheelchair bound patrons and their Carers. These areas are filled on a first come first serve basis.
The Stadium Room is a function room on most match days, however Members requiring disabled seating can book into this area prior to match day. Once the function has concluded, catering and Event Staff rope off an area at the front of the room for wheelchair patrons and their Carers. There is room in this area for 5-6 wheelchairs, and each person can have 1-2 Carers sitting with them in this area. Patrons MUST BOOK INTO THIS AREA, and can do so by contacting the League Office on 8268 2088. This area is subject to availability, and once full, every effort will be made to accommodate members in another area, however there is no guarantee that space will be available in an undercover area.
The Area at the front of the Stadium Room is also reserved for disabled Members and their Carers, and can seat up to 6 wheelchairs plus 1-2 Carers. This area is filled on a first come first serve basis.
AAMI Stadium members can also access the disabled viewing area behind the Southern goals in the Superbox Disabled Viewing Area. There are 6 wheelchair positions in this area, and Patrons MUST BOOK INTO THIS AREA.

Each case is addressed separately, and Members will be required to submit a medical report stating the reason for the parking request. To access disabled parking, call the League Office – 8268 2088.
Public Parking All other patrons who hold a Department of Transport Disabled Parking Permit, but do not hold a Season Parking Permit, are required to enter Max Basheer Reserve, through Gate B off West Lakes Boulevard. This area is subject to capacity, and car park staff will endeavour to park disabled patrons as close to the Stadium as possible.
Information Centres
Members Area The southern end of the Members Stand near Gate 9 - Guest passes can be purchased from this area when available. This Information Centre also handles a wide range of queries from members.
Information/merchandise outlet inside stadium at Southern end of Member area.
Outer Area At the northern end of the ground near Gate 5 which handles queries from the General Public both inside the Stadium and from outside the Ground.
Patron Assistance Centre inside Gate 3 eastern wing.
Matchday Office located next to Southern Members Crossover gate.
Information Centre inside Gate 2 (next to new merchandise shop).
There are three ATM’s located inside the Stadium, and also one located in the northern end of the Checkside Tavern.
Inside the Stadium there are ATM's located in the Members Reserve Foyer, at the Gate 2 Information Centre, and by the Patron assistance Centre by Gate 3.
There are also ATM’s located in the shopping centre.
The Hanger is located on the eastern side of Max Basheer Reserve and is open before all Crows games to all supporters.
After the game, it is free to Gold and Junior Members and Silver Members can purchase a limited number of entry passes at $2 for adults and free for children. Vehicles can gain entry to the Shed Car Park by turning left off Brebner Drive after the match.
Patrons attending AAMI Stadium are now able to consume Alcohol in all Seated areas of the Stadium, with the exception of Bay 102 in the Public Area, and Bay 103 in the Members Reserve. These bays have been set aside as dry areas for patrons who do not wish to sit in the drinking areas.
Patrons purchasing alcohol at the Bars to take back to their seats must have a lid on the beverage, and if they are purcahsing more than 2 drinks, they must also purchase a carry tray. Consuming of alcohol is only permitted in the seating bays, and in the Bar Areas of the Stadium. Patrons are not permitted to consume alcohol in the Stadning areas of the Seating bowl, and must have lids on their drinks when travelling back to their seats.
Patrons are not permitted to exit the Stadium with alcohol, under Liquor Lisencing laws.
Should any patron encounter problems with patrons in their area, the League strongly encourages them to seek out a Member of the Stadium Event Staff or Security team to deal with the problem on the day.
The League encourages all patrons to remember that AAMI Stadium is a family friendly environment, and asks that all patrons respect others around them.

Park Cafe
Northern End, Concourse Level, Northern Grandstand (Members can access the Northern Grandstand by obtaining a Crossover pass from the gates on the Terrace and Concourse levels). They do not take Bookings – seating on a first come – first served basis.
Magarey Room
Members Concourse Level, Centre Staircase. Used for Club Hospitality on AFL event days.
Checkside Tavern
Located off Turner Drive - Entry from within stadium is located opposite Centre Staircase in Members Stand. The Checkside Tavern is a non-smoking venue.
Lost Property
The Match Day Office handles all lost property. A member of the SANFL staff will record details of the item lost or handed in. The Match Day Office is open until approximately 15 minutes after the match concludes. Patrons who have lost an item can phone the League (8268 2088) during business hours to check to see if their property has been returned.
The Match Day Office is located in Red Sector, behind Bay 146.
It is open from the time the gates open until approximately 15 minutes after the match ends.
The Match Day Office is your one-stop shop for reporting lost children, handing in and retrieving lost property and passing on any emergency messages that may need to be broadcast to all patrons.

ENJOY A KICK & CATCH AT AAMI STADIUM THIS SUNDAY

fine weather forecast for Sunday (April 29), we encourage supporters to take
part in the popular kick and catch opportunity on the ground at AAMI Stadium
immediately following the Balfours Showdown between Adelaide and Port Adelaide.
The
AAMI Footy Zone will also be accessible for junior supporters before the match.
It is located on Max Basheer Reserve adjacent to the bus terminal and provides
a safe, secure environment for children to enjoy a kick and catch.
The
Footy Zone features a variety of activities throughout the season, including a
rock climbing wall, blow-up castle, handball targets, face-painting and
giveaways.
