Public Area

  • All tickets currently issued for AAMI Stadium  can be used to gain  access to Adelaide  Oval for this match (barcodes will scan at turnstiles)
  • A limited number of general Admission tickets  will go on sale on 18 August 2011) Tickets can be purchased through Ticketek.
  • There will be a mixture of General Admission  seating & standing room on the Northern & Eastern mounds.
  • Planet  Teal Members – can exchange their ticket at the Port Adelaide Marquee  located on Victor Richardson Drive

Members

  • AAMI Stadium Ultimate members & Essential  Power Members will have access to the Western Stand for the game.
  • Members with allocated reserved seating will be able  to sit in a premium designated reserved area –
  • Members Guest Passes are available to purchase  through Ticketmaster (the normal process applies for these purchases). Please call 136 100 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.au.
  • Members Guest pass ticket collection for  pre-purchased tickets – North ticket box
  • Any remaining Guest passes will be available on  the day of the game from the North and South ticket boxes.

Please note:  If additional tickets are required, they can  be purchased subject to availability at the Members Guest Pass rates.  SACA Members purchase through Ticketek.

MCC Members

MCC Members can purchase a Guest  Pass through Ticketmaster for this game.  Phone 136 100. (Up to 4 per person). MCC  Members will need to quote their MCC Membership Number.

AFL Members

AFL Members with a Port Adelaide  Club of Support package will have a reserved seat area in the Public Area  issued by the Port Adelaide Football Club as they do at AAMI Stadium.  Members are unable to access the Members Reserve

All other AFL Members have entry  rights into the Members Area for all PAFC home matches at AAMI Stadium except  for showdown match against the Adelaide Crows.   For the game at Adelaide Oval, Members simply need to present their AFL  Membership at either the Clarrie Grimmett or Phil Ridings Gate turnstiles.

 

Ticket Collections

Supporters collecting tickets purchased  through Ticketek – should collect from the Ticket Office tickets can be  collected at either the south or east gates

AAMI Stadium Members collecting Members  Guest pass tickets either via Ticketmaster or Special General Tickets for the  Members Reserve will be left for collection at the Clarrie Grimmett Gates at  the Northern end.

Subject to availability, Member Guest  passes will be available from the South and North Gates.
                
SACA Members have until Friday 2 September  to  pre purchase their tickets thru Ticketek.   These can be  collected  from either the South or East gates.

Planet Teal Ticket holders should exchange  their ticket at the Port Adelaide Marquee located at the front of the Victor  Richardson Gates. (Eastern side)

 

TRANSPORT

Public Transport 

  • SA Lotteries Footy Express will operate from  regular stops to the city (included in your game day ticket)
  • Transport will release a timetable on Friday 19  August 2011 – visit adelaidemetro.com.au or Info Line 1300 311 108.
  • Buses will set down & collect from King  William Road (by Adelaide Festival Centre)
  • When travelling by regular bus, train and tram  services, regular Sunday timetable and fares will apply.

Drop off & Pick up Zones   

  • Victoria Drive (In front of Parade Grounds)
  • Palmer Place 
  • War Memorial Drive (on Western side of  Montefiore Road)

Taxi Ranks

  • Kermode Street, outside Cathedral Hotel
  • War Memorial Drive, adjacent Tennis courts

  • Contact the SANFL office to obtain a permit for  parking in the Parade Grounds

 

ROAD  CLOSURES

The Road Closure  Order to apply to the following roads (buses excepted);

  • King William Road between North Terrace  and Kermode Street from 3.00pm until 6.30pm;
  • Pennington Terrace between Sir Edwin Smith  Avenue and King William Road from 3.00pm until 6.30pm;
  • Montefiore Hill between Jeffcott Street  and Palmer Place from 3.00pm until 6.30pm;
  • War Memorial Drive between Sir Edwin Smith  Avenue and Frome Road from 3.00pm until 6.30pm;
  • Sir Edwin Smith Avenue between Kermode  Street and King   William Road from 3.00pm until 6.30pm;
  • Victor Richardson Road in its entirety  from 8.00am until 6.30pm;
  • War Memorial Drive between Montefiore Road  and King William Road from 8.00am until 6.30pm;
  • Victoria Drive between King William Road  and Kintore Avenue from 3.00pm until 6.30pm.
  • The ACC will  erect advanced warning signs notifying the public of the impending  closures  14 days prior to the event.

CAR PARKING

North Car Park will open from 10.00am  
Permit holders only – no public parking

Public  Car Parking

Pinky Flat Car Park will operate from 10.00am (subject to weather) – Cost $10

Access to Pinky Flat Car Park will be from Montefiore Hill end.

There is a number of car parks within the city precinct at competitive Sunday rates.

Disabled Parking

  • A limited number of General Public Disabled Car Parks will be available in the Torrens Parade Grounds – A disabled parking permit will be required to be displayed.  Cost $10

Existing AAMI Stadium  Member Permit Car Parks

  • AAMI Stadium Member Permit Car Parking and  general Daily car park tickets will not be  valid for this game.
  • Application must be made to the SANFL/PAFC to  exchange your car park ticket
  • AAMI Stadium Corporate Box Tickets containing  the “p” will be accepted

Park  N’ Ride

Park on the Max Basheer Reserve at AAMI  Stadium  (no charge) and catch the FX9 or  Fx22 from the Bus Terminal located at AAMI Stadium.  

 

MATCHDAY ACTIVITIES

Victor Richardson Drive/Creswell Gardens – Port’s Planet teal Zone  -  Football activities, food stalls, live bands,  face painters, merchandise stands

Village Green – Bars, live band,  food stalls

Kick to Kick area (kids area) – 30x30m  netted areas for children to kick footballs, face painters, player  appearances/signing.

Auskick/ Little League

  • Half-time will see the normal/regular Auskick  & Little League games.

Kick & Catch

  • After the game – so bring your footy!

  • The normal Dress Code that relates to AAMI  Stadium will be reflected at the Adelaide Oval for this game.

2012 AAMI Stadium - AFL Fixture

The 2012 AFL fixture for AAMI Stadium has been released today.

Port Adelaide will kick off its season against St. Kilda on Sunday, April 1 at 4.10pm, while the Crows' first home match will be against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday, April 7 at 7.10pm.

Footy fans will be able to enjoy five games under lights at AAMI in 2012 - with four Saturday night matches scheduled and one Friday night blockbuster (the Crows v St Kilda rematch on June 15).

The 2012 Showdowns will be hosted in Round 5 (Sunday, April 29) and Round 15 (Saturday, July 7)
